About Dahab

A relaxed seaside town where mountains meet the sea, famous for the Blue Hole and wind sports.

Dahab began as a Bedouin fishing village and still keeps a calm atmosphere along its seafront lined with cafés and restaurants.

The Blue Hole is one of the world’s best-known dive sites, and snorkelers can enjoy the coral rim close to the surface. Important: deep diving in the Blue Hole is dangerous and only for qualified professionals.

The Lagoon offers excellent conditions for kitesurfing and windsurfing, and trips to Mount Sinai and St Catherine’s Monastery leave from Dahab.
